Richard Cramb Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Modetz Funeral Home - Silverbell Chapel on Jan. 12, 2023.
Rich Cramb III, Age 47 of Oxford. January 10, 2023 Loving husband of Sarah. Devoted father of Wyatt and Vada. Dear son of Richard and Josephine Cramb Jr.. Brother of Corey. Grandson of Richard (the late Joan) Cramb Sr. Son-in-law of Phillip (Darlene) Lepkowski and Linda DeMatteis. Brother-in-law of Steven (Sanne) DeMatteis.
What can you say about your "first born" child (son) that would explain who he was and what he was?
From the start he was the adventurous & inquisitive little person always wanting to know how things were made & how they worked (future engineer?). When we moved into a tri-level home he stepped off the first step on the half flight of stairs & thought he was going to fall down the stairs. But of course he knew to sit & slide down the carpeted steps on his butt even though he was only one year old. He was always outgoing & making friends starting with his 3 year old pre-school nursery program. He wasn't going to be the shy one in the room. From that day forward he loved school (learning), always made lots of friends and everyone loved him (much like his daughter Vada is).
Rich grew into a strong you man, went to college, was always focused on his goals and work ethic was phenomenal. His loyalty to family & friends was of utmost importance to Richie. He loved his family & always included the kids in every activity that was taking place (no adult/kid separation). His work was also always a priority & he strived to be the best at everything he did.
He brought the fun to every party/function & was always thinking & planning what would happen next.

Cramb Family,
My sister, Erica, and I grew up down the street from Richie and Corey. The four of us had many great adventures on Linda and probably created our fair share of trouble. My heart breaks for your family. Wishing you peace in this difficult time!

Cramb family,

I met Rich in HS. We were on the track team together. He always made me laugh and had a smile on his face everyday. I'm very sorry for your loss. I'll always remember him.

Cramb Fam,

I met Rich in HS, ran the 4x4 relay with him, and enjoyed every conversation we had. He had an infectious smile and will never be forgotten. That gray hair came in early...lol. Nothing but great memories of Rich. God bless you, Godspeed Rich and know I will think of him often

Corey,

I happened to see the obituary on a friend´s page (she´s a cousin of your sister in law, I think) and I recognized your last name. My heart sank as I realized it was your brother. I am so, so sorry for your family´s loss. You are all in my prayers!
