On January 31, 2025, Mr. Richard E. Crumley of Lincoln, passed away unexpectedly. He was 66.
Rich was born on May 20, 1958, in Wilmington, Delaware, to the late Joan Crumley (Bevans). He graduated from Conrad High School in 1977.
Mr. Crumley honorably served our country in the Army National Guard.
Rich was a salt of the earth hard working man. He worked as a Foreman Ironworker out of Local 451 for Thomas Lindstrom and Company for decades (40+ years).
Rich enjoyed traveling to different states, hiking, walking hand in hand, riding bikes, and enjoying nature with his wife. He was a prideful avid vegetable gardener, and he was a pizza and taco junkie, who took every opportunity to enjoy a steak at Texas Road House.
He was a loving and devoted Husband, survived by his wife of 17 years, Wendy Crumley. A fun loving and proud Father to his children; Richard Matthew Crumley (Melissa), Alicia M. Crumley (Melanie) whom he took boating, fishing, and crabbing every weekend until they were in their teens. An adored and respected by his stepchildren; Mario Anthony Coia (Brandi), and Angelina Tleana McCreary (Joseph). An awesome Popi to his 10 grandchildren; Bobby, Nicholas, Hanna, Richard, Nathan, Paige, Arielle, Jospeh, Grayson, and Ryder. He is also survived by his father, Donald Crumley, his siblings; Dawn Yetto (Rob), Mark Crumley (Pam), Donna White (Bud), Heidi Welliver (Brian), and Deborah Maiola (Greg), and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, friends, and a brotherhood.
Rich was preceded in death by his brother Craig Crumley.
He is dearly missed.
The family will receive visitors at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, DE 19963, from 10AM to 12PM on Thursday February 13th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. John's the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Ave., Milford, at 1PM.
Interment is Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
