Richard Davis Obituary

Richard Lee Davis, age 80, of Coloma, MI, passed away in the comforts of his home on Sunday, September 28, 2025. He is now at peace with our Heavenly Father.

He was born on July 6, 1945, to the late Lester and Marion Davis in Benton Harbor, MI.

As a hard working man, Rich excelled in the Heating and Cooling profession for over 50 years. While working on one of his job assignments, he had the good fortune of meeting his future bride, Annette (Nettie) Gagliardo. Married on March 1, 1980, Rich was a loving husband for 45 years.

Also, Rich was a loving father to his children, Rick (Sheryl) Davis, Debbie Davis (Bill Mann), Amy Davis, and Zachary (Allyson) Scott; cherished grandfather to ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother to Dale Davis, Mike Davis, and Dianne (Mark) Holstius.

Never one to be still for long, Rich loved spending time with family and friends, often with several games of Cribbage, in the amazing gazebo that he built himself. He also thoroughly enjoyed fishing with his sons and buddies, and lending a hand with his kids' home projects. While he will be forever missed, Rich's loved ones will never forget his smiling eyes, incredible wit, ready laugh, and humble demeanor that made everyone who met him feel welcomed and loved.
