Richard "Rich" Edward Davis, 83, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina passed peacefully on December 22, 2025. He was born on November 1, 1942 in Duplin County, North Carolina, a son of the late Woodrow Wilson Davis and June Brown Davis.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Carroll Davis and James Davis; sister, Sylvia Davis Lee.

Rich was a strong Christian, generous, dependable and truly a man of great character. He served in the United States Air Force as a Senior Airman until his Honorable Discharge. For more than 30 years, he was a dedicated employee with Sperry Univac, which later became Unisys.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Deborah (Debbie); son, Richard Davis (Kristin); daughter, Rebecca Abernathy (Todd); grandchildren, Caroline Whiteside (Casey), Lydia Senecal (Michael), Cooper and Jackson Abernathy; great-grandchild, Holden Senecal.

In honoring his wishes, there will be no services.
