Richard Allen Dean, Jr., born on March 9, 1955 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, in Franklinton, Louisiana. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Richard, a proud service member of the United States Army, is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa Cline Dean, their two Sons, Jason Anthony Dean and his wife Jessica Sabrina Palmisano and Joshua Richard Dean and his wife Laura West Dean, as well as his four grandchildren.
An avid motorcycle rider, Richard found joy in the freedom of the open road. In addition to his love for motorcycles, Richard cherished spending time with his grandchildren, imparting wisdom, laughter, and stories that will resonate through generations. He was a big fan of soccer, he loved being on the field whether it was playing or coaching.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Allen Dean, Sr. and Annette Miner Dean.
As we remember Richard, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, a heart filled with love, and a legacy that will endure in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be profoundly missed.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Care has been entrusted to Bagnell & Son Funeral Home.
