Richard Devon Obituary
Richard was a musician with a deep love for nature and animals. He was a gifted writer who expressed himself thoughtfully through words and music. He found joy on the basketball court, on the slopes snowboarding, and had a special appreciation for stand-up comedy, always valuing humor and creativity in everyday life.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 1PM at O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home, 3980 Cascade Road SE, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49546, with visitation from 11AM-1PM. Pastor Than Johnson officiating.
Memorial contributions can be directed to the National Park Service, because of Richard's love and dedication to Yellowstone National Park.

We met Richard about ten yrs ago through Megan Hainer and Jonathon. Richard was a sweet young man and was a DJ at my daughter's wedding. We had such good conversations and he knew how much we all cared for him. The world lost a beautiful soul !
