Richard J. Dulin, 93, of Lake Katrine, NY, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024. He was born on December 7, 1930, in Connelly, NY, son of the late Joseph and Madaline (Bechtold) Dulin. He was born and raised in Connelly where he served in the Fire Department while living there. He was married to the late Kathryn “Kiki” Smith Dulin on June 5th, 1954.

He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War from 1952 to 1953, where he was wounded and received the Purple Heart. Richard later worked for IBM in Kingston for 31 years, retiring as a manager. He was a founding member and parishioner of St. Catherine Laboure Church in Lake Katrine where he served as an usher. He was a member of the Woodstock Golf Club for over 30 years where he was a past Club Champion. Richard enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was involved in local bowling leagues and was a Little League Coach in the Town of Ulster.

He is survived by his sons, Michael (Cheryl) Dulin of New Windsor, Stephen Dulin of Lake Katrine, and his grandson, Daniel (Renee) Dulin. The family would like to especially thank the staff of Golden Hill S2 & C2 Units for the care they provided to Richard during the past 8 months, as well as to Richard's long-time friend/neighbor/doctor for his care for the last 40 years, Dr. Walter Woodley.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Tuesday July 30, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday July 31, 2024, at St. Catherine Laboure Church, 200 Tuyten Bridge Road, Lake Katrine, NY 12449. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Kingston.
