Richard passed away March 7, 2025 in Willoughby. He was born October 9, 1934 in Cleveland.
Richard retired from Fisher Body in Cleveland. He enjoyed reading, gardening and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Mary (Valenty) Durdak; children, Richard Durdak Jr., David (Lee Anne) Durdak, Mark Durdak, and Andrea (Don) Vetovitz; grandchildren, Richard (Alyssa) Durdak III, Keri Durdak, Michael Durdak, Mackenzie Durdak, Andrew Vetovitz, and Evan Vetovitz; great-grandchildren, Richard Durdak IV and Braelyn Durdak; brother, Robert (Rita) Durdak; sister, Kris Nyce. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Helen (Yambor) Durdak.
Final resting place is in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Twp.
