Richard Keith Evans

Richard Keith Evans, age 68, of Jakin, GA, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 12, 2025 in Jakin, GA.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Keith was born September 3, 1956, in Colquitt, GA to Judson Emmett Evans and Ann Polk Evans. Keith LOVED his country and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a laborer at Georgia Pacific. He was a member of the United Steel Workers and enjoyed piddling in the yard and wood working. Keith could build anything.

He leaves to cherish her memory, his wife. Circe Sanders-Evans of Jakin, GA; his mother, Ann Polk Gold of Albany, GA; his brother, Brent Evans and his wife Jodi; his sister, Pamela Higginbotham; his nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, Martha Bush and her husband Wade, JW Bush, Nicolas Bush and his wife Luisa, Judson Griffin, Kyle Evans, Emily Evans, Raylan Bush, Robert Mock and his wife Jessie, and Liam Mock.

Keith was preceded in death by his father, Judson Emmett Evans; his sister, Sissy Moulton; and a nephew, Wyatt Griffin.
