Mr. Richard Allen Evans

Mr. Richard Allen Evans, age 58, of Dalton, Ga., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 5, 2025. He was born on November 9, 1966. He was preceded in death by his father and Mother, Steve and Peggy Evans. He is survived by his wife, Leah Scott Evans, sons Jared Evans, Joey David Evans, and daughter, Ellie Anne Evans, brothers John "Eddie" Evans (Shanon) Corey Evans(Kendra), and sisters, Angie Williams (Curtis), Stephanie Loyd (Walter), mother-in-law, and father-in-law, Millie and David Scott, sister-in-law Angie Myles Heckaman, and numerous Nieces and nephews. Mr. Evans was a loving husband and father. He loved being involved with everything to do with his children, from football, baseball, softball, wrestling, and the all-important cheer dad. He found so much joy in playing with his children daily The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Dalton Funeral Home.
