Richard Oliver Eyestone

Richard "Dick" Oliver Eyestone, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at his home. He was born June 17, 1951, in Muskegon, MI to Leonard and Marie (Chester) Eyestone, and was a lifelong resident of Muskegon. After graduating from Reeths-Puffer High School class of 1969, Richard went on to become a warehouse manager for Weyburn- Bartel and later for Engine Power Components.
Richard married the love of his life, Sandra (Petrick) Eyestone, on April 7, 1973, at St. Mary of the Woods in Lakewood Club and they spent 52 years making many memories. The two share 3 children together. Richard was an avid reader which he enjoyed reading at the lake the most. He enjoyed playing cards, spending many nights camping with his loved ones, making everyone laugh with his jokes and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Richard will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sandra; 3 children, Kelly (Boyce) Gargus, Bryan Eyestone, Lindsey (Ryan) Huls; 5 grandchildren, Zachary, Leyton, Grace, Sabrina, Hunter; 2 sisters, Lynn Young and Lori (Tim) Hayes, 1 brother, Lee (Marcia) Eyestone; 7 brothers-in-law, David (Kate) Petrick, Steve (Candy) Petrick, Tom Petrick, Larry (Deb) Petrick, and Paul Petrick (Jennifer Sweet); and 3 sisters-in-law, Linda (Jim) Keefer, Nancy (Rick) Bourdo and Barb Petrick (Don England), Michael Holman and Jerome Wisniewski. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Kathy Holman and Lisa Wisniewski, 1 brother- in-law Dennis Young and in-laws Pete and Aldine Petrick.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1110 Dykstra Rd., North Muskegon, MI 49445, with Father Godfrey Onyekwere presiding. Visitation will be held 5-7 PM Friday, March 21, 2025, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the Mass on Saturday at the Church.
