Terri Jo Eyestone (Wynboom), age 60 of Appleton, WI passed away on September 30, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born to Richard and Sherry (Grode) Wynboom on September 20, 1965 in Kaukauna, WI. After graduating from Kaukauna High School with the class of ‘84, she enlisted with the US Army, faithfully serving her country for 6 years before her honorable discharge. After her time in the military, she spent almost a decade as a dispatcher for the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department. Terri met the love of her life, Mark Eyestone, and they were married on September 30, 1985 in Alexandria, VA. Together, they raised 3 wonderful children.
Terri was an adventurous, humorous, and deeply compassionate woman with a beautiful soul. She was a protector and server, not only for her country and her neighborhood, but for her family. Terri personalized every relationship she had with everyone, taking absolute care to treat everyone with respect and making sure everyone was her top priority. If you told her something about yourself, she would remember it and keep it in her heart. She always had inside jokes and references with everyone she knew – she really made everyone feel special and that was her intention. Terri found peace in nature, wherever she was. Whether on a beach or in the forest, she always found serenity in being present in the moment. Terri cherished her time being a loving wife and mother, but she definitely spoiled her grandkids the most. She was so proud of her family and everyone she helped to raise. You will always remain in her heart.
Terri will be deeply missed by her husband, Mark; her children, Jenny (Michael), Mark Jr, and Aaron (Haley); her grandchildren, Blake, Dylan, and Carly Jo; her special nieces, Madison and Olivia; her brother-in-law, John; her sister-in-law, Melanie (Albert); as well as many other extended relatives and dear friends.
Terri is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Sherry; her parents-in-law, William and Arline; her sister, Emberly; and her brother-in-law, Robert.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4 PM on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St, Appleton, WI 54911 with a memorial service, sharing of memories, and military honors to follow at 4 PM.
Terri’s family would like to extend a special thanks to ThedaCare At Home Hospice; her cousin, Kay; her good friends, Julie, Marn, and Tom; and her friends at the cancer center for their care, compassion, and support during her time of need.
