Thomas John Smith, entered into the presence of the lord at the age 62. Tom passed away at King Veterans home unexpectedly on February 4, 2026, in Waupaca Wisconsin.
Tom was born and raised in Appleton Wisconsin. He graduated from Appleton East High School in 1981, where he was very athletic and participated in track and swimming. Shortly after graduation, Tom proudly joined the United States Air Force in 1981, serving his country with dedication and pride.
Tom deeply loved his family and valued the time he spent with those closest to him. He is survived by his mother, Arlene Smith, one sister; two brothers; one daughter; seven nieces; four nephews; two granddaughters; and one great grandson. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Smith.
Tom will be remembered for his kindness, strength, humor, loyalty, and the love he had for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
