David T. Schuh

David Thomas Schuh, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on January 5, 1962, in Appleton, Wisconsin, David was the son of the late Delmar and Joan Schuh.

David was a graduate of Appleton East High School. For many years, he worked as a valet at Appleton Medical Center for Towne Park, where his warm demeanor was appreciated by staff and visitors alike.

David was a social butterfly and enjoyed being around people. He was an avid bowler and loved the camaraderie of the lanes. He also found support and friendship as a dedicated member of the Special Olympics, Knights of Columbus, and at Epilepsy gatherings. Known for his social spirit, David's favorite pastime was going out to dinner. His signature drinks, were a Brandy Old-Fashioned or a Manhattan and he would happily meet anyone, anywhere, to share one. He will be deeply missed by his Neighborhood Mystery Dinner crowd.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar and Joan Schuh, and his brothers, Gregory Schuh and Robert Schuh.

He is survived by his loving family; his special friend Robin Schuettpelz; his brother Gary Schuh and his wife, Lisa; his sister Dawn Kluge and her husband, Thad; his sister, Denise Baugh and her special friend, Jeff; his Uncle Monsignor John Schuh; and many cherished nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.

David's generous heart, enduring spirit, and commitment to enjoying the simple pleasures of life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

We would like to thank St. E's Cancer Center and Dr. Stephanie for the wonderful care the last few months.

A Mass of Resurrection for David will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church (2331 E. Lourdes Dr.) Appleton.

Visitation will begin at 9 AM directly at the church.
