Alexandra Jean "Ally" Blattner

While enjoying life as she did best, Alexandra Jean Blattner unexpectedly passed away after a skiing accident on Thursday evening, February 5th, 2026. She left us in an instant and without pain. According to her expressed wishes we were able to work with Versiti for the donation of her tissues. Born to Jenni and Chris Blattner in Neenah, WI, Ally has been giving us reasons to smile since January 25, 2006. She began working as a CNA at Brewster Village while still a student at Neenah High School and was also working at Sharehaven Home at Evergreen Retirement Community. Ally was preparing to study nursing at UW-Oshkosh and was adding psychology emphasis to her studies. She spent her time enjoying her Tri Sigma sorority family, taking charge with student senate, doing activities with friends, and exploring many other interests.

Ally was a shining light in every room she entered. She loved to be with others. She was always ready to craft something, play violin, give bunny snuggles to Porter or belly rubs to Wibble, cheat at board games, or just have a conversation. She wouldn't walk away until you were smiling and laughing along with her. Although short, she lived her life with energy, meaning and enjoyment.

Ally is survived by her parents: Chris and Jenni Blattner; a sister Megan; grandparents: Bernie and Judy Blattner, and Donna Hance; aunt Becky Bahr (Paul, Lauren, and Matt), aunt Michelle Kristie (Jason, Jayden, and Riley), aunt Nikki Galla (Eric, Christopher, and Hailey), and too many forever friends to possibly list.

Ally was preceded in death by her sister Kaitlyn, grandpa Tom Hance, her great grandparents, her great aunt Donna, and her great aunt Linda.

Visitation will be held in Appleton at Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel on Thursday, Feb 12, 2026, from 4pm-7pm, and again on Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 9:00 am until the Mass at 11 am officiated by Brother Ray Stadmeyer.

The family encourages donations in Ally's name to Boys and Girls Brigade, March of Dimes (her sorority's chosen philanthropy), Tri Sigma Foundation, Touch of Class at Neenah High School, or volunteer your time at a nursing home or mental health facility.
