Calicoat, Wilma Mar 1, 1930 - Nov 9, 2025 Wilma Agnes Calicoat (age 95) longtime resident of Clayton, WA, passed away November 9, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born March 1, 1930, to Oscar and Florence Norris in Springdale, WA, Wilma was one of six children raised on the family farm. She graduated from Mary Walker High School and later began working in beautiful downtown Springdale, where she met and married Marvin Calicoat. Wilma and Marvin had five children, Thelma, Jim, Dee, Taffy and Daniel. Wilma dedicated 23 years to the Deer Park School District as a cook and spent eight years working at the Clayton Drive-In for Don and Lorriane Ball. Known for her warm personality and love of people, Wilma cherished her interactions with students and customers, alike. During retirement it didn't matter when, where or what if you called, she was ready to go in 5 minutes, that is how she became "Granny on the Go!" Wilma found joy in her grandchildren, watching and traveling for Mariners baseball, Gonzaga basketball, visits to the neighbors, helping at the Happy Home Church, these are just a few of her adventures. Wilma is survived by her five children: Thelma (Dwight) Springer of North Dakota, Jim Calicoat, Dee (Marsha) Calicoat, Taffy (Randy) Long, all of Clayton, WA, and Daniel (Tami) Calicoat of Springdale, WA; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and her brother, Frank (Treva) Norris. Preceding Wilma in death is her husband, Marvin Calicoat; her parents, Oscar and Florence Norris; her siblings, Floyd (Edna) Norris, Oscar (Betty) Norris, Willene (Pete) LeBret, and Mable Norris; and granddaughter, Amber Calicoat. A service will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Happy Home Church in Deer Park, WA.
