He was my Neighbor 1st for 25ys ,then he became a friend while being a 2nd father to my Dyana his Amy's best friend.
We talked about the Dolphins all the time and have continued since my move to Savannah. He was a avid & knowledgeable sport fan.
When my company filed for bankruptcy he was right there to offer me a job at Beltmann. I had the pleasure of working for him for 10 years and it was a true HONOR!
The people who have worked for him at Beltmann know this loss is monumental!!
What can I say after hearing this shocking news. To say Rich was "ONE OF A KIND" would be totally understating this heartbreaking news !

Announcement from Andy Kroll
On behalf of northAmerican Van Lines, it saddens me to share our deepest condolences on the very recent passing of Rich Ferguson, SVP & GM Beltmann Group. To say Rich was a larger than life character would be an understatement. He will always be remembered as a great team player and character verified by everyone that worked and befriended him over the last 25 years in the NAVL Network.
There are many in the industry and NAVL family who will mourn deeply his passing as his was a life of service, love, passion and excellence for his work, family, friends and co-workers. Rich bled NAVL and Beltmann Blue! May he rest in peace
Over this holiday season, please keep him, his wife Lorraine and their 3 children in your thoughts and prayers.

Rich was my mentor, my colleague and most of all, my friend. I will miss his wit and ability to get things done, but most of all I will miss his humor and his compassion.

I have had the privilege of knowing Richard through his great smile, As his Dental Hygienist for the past ten years, it was easy to sense his devotion to family and friends, His loving embrace which comforted Lorraine endeared him to those of us deeply. May the angels carry you above as you now begin your new journey...

Rich was a man with compassion, fairness and a loyalty that was admired by all that knew him. Although we were not close friends, I always knew he genuinely cared. He is in the warm embrace of our Lord now, God rest is beautiful soul.
