FORRESTALL, Richard J. Age 89, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully, on August 9, 2025. Beloved husband of Barbara J. (Leonard) Forrestall; father of Paula Brawn and her husband, Kenny, Michelle Forrestall Lee, William Forrestall and his wife, Kim, Linda Trott and her husband, Michael, Robert Forrestall and his wife, Linda, and Kelly Doucette and her husband, Tom. Cherished son of the late Wilfred J. and Gladys (Fitzmeyer) Forrestall; and grandfather of ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visiting Hours: At his request all services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 320 Nevada St., #201, Newton, MA 02460. Wow....so sorry to hear about this....such a good guy....was one of his so called "students" in the machine shop at Axcelis along with a few others....he was the most patient guy even though you would ask a dumb question or how to do something....just the best guy....My condolences to the Forrestall family....Dave Chipman
