Richard Alan Forte

Richard Alan Forte, 74, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away on February 16, 2026.

Richard was a beloved father, family member, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was known for his steady nature, his warm personality, and for being genuinely fun to be around.

Richard proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years.

Richard was also a long-term member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church in Benton, Arkansas, where he valued his church family and community.

Throughout his life, Richard took pride in doing what needed to be done and in the life he built. He enjoyed spending time with others and had a way of making moments lighter and more enjoyable just by being there.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Forte and Robert Forte, and by his son, Cody Forte.

He is survived by his brothers, Robert Forte Jr. and William Forte; his daughters, Rikki Henson (and her husband, Aaron Henson) and Tracy Wiggs; his sons, Howard Katchur and Rich Katchur; and his grandson, Eli Henson.

Richard will be remembered for the impact he had on those around him, his sense of fun, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life.
