Richard P. Frost, 59, of Omaha passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born in Joliet, IL on October 28, 1966 the son of Virgil Lynn and Janet Ruth (Clark) Frost. Richard was a Warehouse Shift Lead for WSI at SABIC in Mt. Vernon, IN. He enjoyed mowing, working on his vehicles and riding motorcycles.
Richard is survived by his children, Sarah (Jared) Ferguson of Cape Coral, FL, Elizabeth (Tony) Gutierrez of Carmi, Ashley (David) Dutton of Norris City, Jordan Frost (Adreyn) of Springerton, Brendan (Lauren) Frost of Carmi and Dylan Frost (Madison) of Omaha; the mother of his children, Michelle Rodgers of Broughton; 17 grandchildren who affectionately call him Big Papa, Bentlee, Kollin, Henleigh, Chloe, Gwen, Kahleel, Haisleigh, Everly, Kelani, Huxtyn, Weston, Zoe, Hazel, Braylynn, Maverick, Aelin and Bennett due in a few weeks. He is also survived by two brothers, Tim Frost of Kankakee, IL and Virgil L Frost, Jr of Southerlin, Oregon. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Clanton Frost.
Visitation for Richard P. Frost, 59, of Omaha will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richard's memory to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home or by mail to 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821
