Richard Gregory- 82- April 12, 1943-August 18, 2025
A man born again and dedicated to Christ. Lovingly known to all his friends and family as Dick. Peacefully passed away on Monday evening at home in Libby surrounded by his loving family. Born the son of a masonry in Poughkeepsie, New York, at a young age moved to the Trego area of Montana where he spent much of his childhood fishing, hunting and watching wildlife. He left home at 17 and became a cowboy, working for local families on their ranches in Shelby. At 19, he made the decision to serve his country by joining the Navy during the Vietnam era. Later in life, he attended college for eight years and enjoyed a successful career as a Journeyman Electrician completing specialty electronics. At retirement, he returned home to where his heart was in Montana.

He is survived by his wife, Ginnie of 61 years; four daughters and two son-in-laws: Norma Gregory, Kimberly Gregory Ruiz, Coni Atwood (H-Craig) and Michelle Mohoric (H-Todd); twelve grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

Richard is preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Horton Gregory; dad, Herbert W. Gregory Sr.; brothers, Herbert W. Gregory Jr. and Cyrus Gregory; and his sister, Isabell Gregory Hearn.
