HAAS - Richard Allen of Huntington on September 18, 2025, at 79 years of age. Richard was a proud veteran of the US Navy, and a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He loved golf and was a member of Veterans out on the Rough at the Northport VA. Devoted husband of Margaret Haas. Cherished father of Richard (Shauna), David (Sandra), Jennifer, and Margaret (James). Treasured grandfather of Sara Jean, Taylor, Trent, Michael, Nicholas, Ashley, Kyra, Riley, and Olivia. Visitation Monday from 4 to 8 PM at Brueggemann Funeral Home - 522 Larkfield Road, East Northport. Funeral Service Tuesday, 10:00 AM at St. Francis Of Assisi R.C. Church, Greenlawn. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery. Contributions in lieu of flowers are requested to Disabled American Veterans at the Northport VAMC - 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11731 www.bfhli.com
