With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Richard David Hall, a cherished father, brother, grandfather, and friend, who left us on November 20, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on March 30, 1932, in Newark, Ohio, Richard spent his life embodying the values of hard work, dedication, and love for his family.
After serving honorably in the Army during the Korean war and Washington DC he returned home to continue his life.
A proud graduate of The Ohio State University, Richard became a respected chemical engineer and later a successful business owner as an environmental consultant.
Richard was a proud member of the Milford F & A Masonic Lodge 54 and held affiliations with both the Scottish and York Rites. Those who knew him appreciated his warm demeanor, quick wit, and genuine care for others. He took great joy in sharing time with family, particularly relishing the roles of father and grandfather. He is survived by his son, Jeff Hall, and daughter-in-law, Nancy Hall; daughter, Colleen Schulz, and son-in-law, Paul Schulz; and five grandchildren, Andrew Hall, Cassidy Hall, Brian Hall, Kelli (Vance) Simmons, and Rebecca Schulz. He is also survived by his beloved sisters, Mamie Long, Neva Hughes, and Alfreda Moser, along with brother-in-law, Bill Moser.
The celebrations of Richard's life will commence with a visitation on November 24, 2025, starting at 5:30 PM at Evans Funeral Home in Milford, where friends and family will gather to share stories, laughter, and remembrance. This will be followed by a funeral service, also held at Evans Funeral Home, at 7:30 PM. A graveside service will take place on November 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Evergreen Cemetery,
As we come together to honor Richard's incredible journey, we invite all who knew him to join us in celebrating a life filled with love, laughter, and an unyielding spirit. He will be deeply missed but forever loved.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Hall and parents David and Freda Hall.
