Richard Alan Hoffman Sr.

Richard A. Hoffman, age 64, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Philip Hulitar Hope Hospice with his family at his side. He was the fiancée of Felicia Wheeler to whom he shared 8 years of love and companionship. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Mary J. (Beebe) Hoffman.
Richard found great enjoyment spending time outdoors whether it be camping, fishing or canoeing. He was generous with his time and talents and was quick to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. His beloved Cockapoo Ben was never far from his side and often accompanied him to work, running errands or simply going for a ride in the car. Above all else, Richard found the most joy spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed tremendously by those who had the privilege to know and love him.
He was the devoted father of Richard 'Ricky' A. Hoffman and Erica L. Hoffman (husband, Manny) and the cherished 'Gramps' of Enrique Hoffman, Emmanuel Ramos, Ernesto Ramos, Essence Ramos, Esperanza Ramos, Ariha Wheeler and Amir Johnson. He was the brother of twin sisters Sharon Ricci and Sheila Hannaway and the late Joanne Hoffman.
A Visitation will be held Friday, November 14, 2025 from 4-7pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. His burial will be private.
