In loving memory of Richard Allen Homiczewski, a deeply cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, in Williamsburg, Virginia. He was born on September 23, 1940, in St. Louis, Missouri, and lived a full life of 85 years, marked by rich experiences and enduring relationships.

Richard's passion for Civil War history was a testament to his lifelong pursuit of knowledge and understanding. He was an avid traveler, often sharing stories of his journeys with those close to him, and cherished every moment spent with family and friends. His warm presence and keen insights will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Educated at Fullerton High School, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts from Long Beach State and a Business Degree from the University of Southern California (USC). His academic achievements were a source of pride and laid the foundation for a life marked by intellectual curiosity and professional accomplishment.

A man of faith, Richard was a member of Bruton Parish, having previously been involved with St. Andrews in Fullerton, California.

He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Scott Homiczewski, and his sister, Joanne Griffith. Richard leaves behind a devoted wife, Ann Marie Homiczewski, and a loving daughter, Linda Marie Homiczewski. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Dane Allen, Dillon Mathew, and Lani Ann Marie, as well as several nieces and a nephew who held a special place in his heart.

Richard's legacy is one of love and dedication towards his friends and family. He touched the lives of many and will be remembered for his wisdom and the joy he brought into every room. His memory will forever be a guiding light to those who had the privilege of knowing him.
