Richard Lee Horton, 76, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away on December 8, 2025. He was born on April 20, 1949, and spent his life devoted to his family, his work, and the projects that brought him joy.
Richard was retired from the IPS Buildings and Grounds Roofing and Sheet Metal Department, where he dedicated many years of skilled, hardworking service. Outside of work, he loved spending time in his garage, working on motorcycles and tackling various projects around his home—always fixing, building, or improving something.
He is survived by his brother, William Horton; his son, Andrew Horton; his daughter, Abigail Webber and her husband, John; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Richard’s steady presence, quiet humor, and willingness to lend a hand will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date
