As a young married couple nearly 50 years ago, we chose Central Baptist (PA) as our first spiritual home because of Rev. Keach. He spoke to our idealism with his sermons on non-violence and civil rights. Though we resided in Wayne only a short period of time, those were formative years in our spiritual lives. Reading of his passing evokes profound nostalgia; and it feels as if we've lost an old friend.

Blessings to the family,

Rev. Keach made a lovely speech when my father, Emerson Thompson, died. I told him so after the fact and he was understanding and compassionate. A life well lived.

Dear Jerry,
Bob and I are thinking of you and all your loving family at this tender time. Dick led Central Baptist and was a positive influence there, with Center City Churches, and on Hartford's Main Street. We celebrate with you his long, useful life.
And we especially remember your and his kind caring during Diane's illness. We so appreciated your notes and phone calls during our family's difficult time and your attendance at her memorial service.
We are grateful for your friendship over the years and send our love.

To Jerry and family, I was so sorry to see Dick's obituary in the paper on line. I so enjoyed meeting you both from time to time in CT before I moved to GA. You will be in my prayers at this sad time.
