Richard W. Kesselring, 92, of Wakefield, Kansas passed away on July 2, 2025 at Wakefield Care and Rehab. Cremation will take place with a private family inurnment to follow at a later date.
He was born on May 20, 1933, O Brien County, Iowa to C.Wayne and Edythe (Trotter) Kesselring.
Richard was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He was a member of the VFW Philip Billard Post #1650 in Topeka, Kansas. He was an avid motorcyclist owning many Indian motorcycles throughout his life.
Richard is survived by his sister Mary A. Allen of Wakefield, KS; Daughter, Debra Kesselring; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Father, C.Wayne Kesselring, Mother, Edythe Trotter; his three sons, Douglas, Paul, and Michael Kesselring.
