Mr. Richard Earl Keys age 76 of 4381 Lee Street, Ayden, NC died Monday February 27, 2023. Funeral service will be held Sunday March 12, 2023 2:00pm at Don Brown Funeral Home. Address: 497 Second Street, Ayden, NC 28513 Burial will follow in Mills Family Cemetery. Address: 1647 Ivy Road, Winterville, NC 28590
Mr. Keys was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Hooker Keys of the home; three sons, Donald Ray Keys of New Haven, CT, Jeffrey Keys (Heshima) of Greenville, NC and Reginald Devon Keys (Pamela) of Raleigh, NC; four brothers, Joseph Glen Keys and Gary Donnell Keys both of Trenton, NC, William Ned Keys of Ayden, NC and Calvin Leon Keys of Indiana; two sisters, Gladys Meadows of Trenton, NC and Larsene Steele of New Bern, NC; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home.
