Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory - Kingman on Feb. 26, 2026.
Richard William Koch went to our Lord on February 9, 2026. He was better known as Dick by his family and friends.

He is pre-deceased by his wife Bobbie of 45 years, his sister Shirley Marie

Nolan, his nephew Phillip Nolan, sister-in-law Beatrice Nelson, and stepdaughter

Barbara Zalewski (Gary).

He leaves behind stepdaughter Josephine Lightbody (Jim). Also, two half-sisters, Sandy Adams and Carol Glass, sister-in-law Joan (Carl), nephew Daniel Nolan, granddaughter Lenora (Joe), grandsons Aaron, Benjamin, Gary (April), David (Jamie), great grandsons Trevor, Hunter, Cameron, and Remington as well as his feline companions Misty and May.

Dick was born to Arthur and Evelyn Koch on January 27, 1936, in Buffalo, NY.

His mother remarried in 1945 to Henry Cecil Harder who came to be the best stepfather

and Dad, a young boy could wish for.

Dick loved to hunt, fish, shoot pool, and play golf. In 1955 he received a letter

from the President welcoming him into the United States Army. In that he was already in

the Naval Reserve he extended for 1 year to make it a 3-year tour of duty in the US

Navy. He met Bobbie while at the Linde Division of Union Carbide in 1970. They

married on July 8, 1974, in North Tonawanda, NY. Both retired in 1992 from Linde and

in 1999 moved to Henderson, NV. Within 3 years, Henderson became very crowded

and they moved to Kingman, AZ.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingman Church of Christ, 1915 Robinson

Avenue, Kingman AZ, on April 4, 2026, at 10:30am.
