Edith Dignan

Edith Dignan of Kingman, Arizona passed away January 21, 2026 at the age of 87. Edith was born August 28, 1938 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Walter and Evalyn Lang.

Edith grew up in Beloit, Wisconsin with her sister Janice and attended school there from grade school through college. After finishing school, she married John Philip Dignan in November 1960 and the couple moved to Saint Charles, Illinois.

They were blessed with three children-Lynn, Larry and Leslie. Edith raised her family with Phil until he passed away unexpectedly in 1977.

Edith soon moved to Scottsdale, Arizona and joined the real estate market. After many years in Scottsdale she made the move to Kingman, Arizona, where she continued her real estate career.

After retirement, Edith enjoyed reading and traveling extensively all over the world.

Edith enjoyed spending much of her time in her yard with her plants, dogs and the many critters in her habitat.

Edith looked forward to her many conversations with her friends in the community, as well as frequent luncheons with her Mensa partners.

Edith is survived by her 3 children, 4 grandchildren and her sister Janice Carrier, of Florida.

We would like to thank KRMC Hospice for their care and compassion at the end of her life. Edith's final days were spent at the Joan and Diana Hospice House under the care of the most dedicated and compassionate staff and volunteers.
