Richard "Rick" Kruep, 68, passed away peacefully with his loving wife and family by his side on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Drake Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Rick is the son of Leon G. and Carol Kruep of Burlington, KY.
Rick was born on July 2, 1954, in Breese, Illinois where he grew up. Rick was one of six children. He graduated from Seneca High School in 1973. Rick worked for Radial, a shipping company before he retired. He was a homebody who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends the most. Rick loved anything that had to do with history, the military, and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. He had a funny, dry sense of humor who kept his family and friends laughing. Rick had a special love for animals, especially his own two dogs, Coco and Peaches. Rick was a good man, kind and compassionate who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents; sister Sandy; brother Greg and his mother-in-law Juanita Robinson.
Those left here to carry on his great legacy are his parents, Leon and Carol Kruep; his loving wife of ten years, Donna Robinson-Kruep; sisters Michelle Hall and Cyndi (Joel) Voyles; brother Michael Kruep; two brothers-in-law's; nieces and nephews Derek (Annie) Charles, Kimberley (AJ) Robertson, Andrew Weigel, Alex Weigel, Sydney Senger; his two fur babies, Pomeranian Peaches and Shiatzu Coco, and a great host of extended family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Linnemann Funeral Home 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home. A reception will be held at the Linnemann Event Center from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The family welcomes all guests to stay.
