He was born on January 21, 1960, in Madison County, the son of the late Richard A. Lamb Sr. and Rose Lee Moore Cruse. He was a retired Heavy Equipment operator and mechanic for Lacy Excavating and also had worked as a mechanic for Barger's in Richmond. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and also served in the Army National Guard of Kentucky.
Survivors include his wife: Angi Lamb; two sons: Richard Allen Lamb and Thomas Bristow (Jamie); two daughters: Angela Brooke Lamb Moss (Aaron) and Kennedy Iris Lamb; dear friend and companion: Kassandra Edenstrom; one sister: Kathy Harrison (Jamie); three grandchildren: Sophia Grace Lamb, Waylon Carter Lamb and Raelynn Jo Lamb as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: John Cruse and Michael Cruse and one sister: Bonnie Burns.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pilot Knob Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Richard Lamb, James Lamb, James Harrison, Allen May, John May and Michael Cruse.
Honorary Pallbearers are Darion Coleman and Lemuel Phillips.
