Richard Clyde "Rick" Lambert

Richard "Rick" Clyde Lambert passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. He was born January 11, 1958, at Tanner Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Ga. He grew up in Shady Grove and attended Shady Grove Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy "Jeanette" Cook Lambert; and father, Clyde Eugene Lambert of Carrolton. He leaves behind two brothers; Thomas Reece Lambert, and Timothy Lynn Lambert, and many family members that he loved and admired dearly and was very blessed to have been a part. Rick also loved and cherished his relationship with Yvonne Mannion and their companion, Lady Lola, while living in Arizona.
Rick attended Sand Hill Elementary School and graduated from Villa Rica High School. Rick loved his school friends and wanted the best for all. He later went on to join the United States Air Force for nine years and was very proud to have served, mostly in Texas. From Texas, he moved to Arizona and spent a large part of his life there. He was thankful for a father and uncles that loved the outdoors and he shared that love as well.
He loved fishing, hunting, hiking and sightseeing in the country. Rick loved spending his last few years with family and moved back home to Shady Grove. He loved Shady Grove Baptist Church and is thankful for his church family.
There will be a celebration of life at Shady Grove Baptist Church on January 11, 2026, at 3 pm. Friends and family are welcome to arrive an hour early for fellowship before the service. Pastor Mike Harris will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers, Rick preferred his friends and family would donate to the American Heart Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or their favorite charity.
