Jerome - Richard John LaRowe, age 72, of Jerome, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Vista Grande Villa in Jackson, surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born August 7, 1952, in to Richard and Vickey LaRowe, in Schenectady, New York, On June 29, 2001, Richard married Yvonne Risser in Toledo, Ohio, and she survives.
He attended the Somerset Congregational Church in Cement City, MI. Richard enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, target shooting and playing golf. He especially enjoyed fishing, swimming and tubing with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Yvonne, Richard is survived by his mother; Vickey Vigilone of Schenectady, NY; daughters; Erin (Jarrad) LaRowe of Ann Arbor, Kara (John) Kerschenheiter of Clinton; Stepchildren; Joesph Mastie of Canton, Michael (Marlene) Mastie of Ypsilanti, Derrick Mastie of Adrian, Ryan (Tiffany) Risser of South Lyons, Erin Risser of Galloway, OH, 13 wonderful grandchildren. Richard is survived by siblings: William LaRowe of Albany, NY, and Kathryn Guynup of Rotterdam, NY., and many nieces and nephews.
Per Richard's request, Cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions can be made St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Wounded Warriors Project. Friends can express sympathies to the family online by visiting the tribute wall at www.brownvanhemert.com. Arrangements have been made with the guidance of the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home, Addison.
