Richard LaRue Jr., simply known as Rick or Ricky, passed away on August 19, 2024 at the age of 41. He was born on July 19, 1983, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Richard LaRue, Sr. and Kim (Reeves) Williams. Rick's journey through life touched many hearts and left an indelible mark on those who knew him. 

A devoted father, Rick was a proud parent to his beloved son, Gambit Remy LaRue, and he cherished every moment spent with him, particularly enjoying video games, especially the Lego Series. 

Rick graduated from Union High School and dedicated a significant part of his career to Wal-Mart. He contributed his skills to the Warsaw Marathon located on US 30 & 250 E, where he was appreciated by both colleagues and customers alike.

Known for his kind demeanor and good sense of humor, Rick had a quiet nature complemented by a big heart. His personality shone through in his relationships, where he was a devoted and caring family man. He is remembered fondly by his family, including his wife, Christy LaRue, who stood by him throughout their life together.

Rick is also survived by his son, Gambit LaRue; mother, Kim (Terry) Williams; his sister, Sherrie (Jon) Terrell; his brother, Eddie (Megan) LaRue. His extended family Leon (Carolyn) Hartley, Curtis Hartley, Charles Hartley, Catherine (Chris) Graber, Cynthia Gibson. Many nieces and nephews. 

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Richard LaRue, Sr. and his grandparents.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan Street Warsaw, is entrusted with care of Rick. A Life Celebration® visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Titus Funeral Home in Warsaw from 4PM to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers gifts to assist the family can be made to Christy LaRue with envelopes available at the funeral home. Also, gifts can be mailed care of Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan Street Warsaw IN 46580 or through his obituary page at www.TitusFuneralHome.com.
