Richard E. (Dick) Leeper, 83, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at his home surrounded by family. Born on April 8, 1942, in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Ernest S. and Grace E. Spoonhour Leeper.
Richard was a maintenance electrician employed by Heinz Company, TB Wood, etc. and retired from Venura Foods. He enjoyed working on cars, fix anything that was broken. He loved spending time with family and friends especially grandchildren and great grandchildren. His adopted cat, Jellybean, would keep him busy. He would always put food in his bowl every time he went to it even though there was some in it.
He is survived by one son, Dwayne Leeper of Fayetteville; two daughters: Connie Adams of Fayetteville and Carla Paul (James); four grandchildren: Kylene Leeper and James Adams of Fayetteville, Beth Volz (Chuck) of North Carolina, and Tyler Paul of Arizona; and five great-grandchildren: Andrew Leeper of Virginia, Isabella Leeper of Fayetteville, Cynthia Peters of Fayetteville, Abriella Volz and Emanuel Volz of North Carolina.Richard (Dick) Leeper was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Wetzel Leeper, and two sons: Roger D. Leeper and Craig A. Leeper.
Graveside services will be held at Parklawns Memorial Gardens, 3218 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA, at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025, with Rev. Bob Murr officiating.
