Richard Lynn Lucas Sr. 81, Spring City, Mo passed away December 7, 2023 at his home.

Richard Lynn Lucas was born August 24, 1942 in Joplin, MO the son of Marvin Jack Lucas and Ann (West) Lucas. He had lived in the area all his life.  Richard served his country in the Missouri National Guard (203rd engineers, Joplin, MO). He retired just a few months ago at the age of 81, from Flecter Ford in Joplin, where he was the parts manager. Richard worked 63 years for ford dealerships. Richard loved cars and loved to work on them. He enjoyed fishing, and working. Richard loved to spend time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his family.

Richard Lynn Lucas married Laurel Sewell April 24, 1946 and she survives.

Additional survivors include one daughter Lori West and husband Gary, Seneca; one son, Richard Lucas Jr, KS; one sister, Barbara Yeisley; one brother, Jackie Lucas; 4 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson Zachary Lucas.

A Celebration Of Life visitation will be held from 10am to 11am, Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

The body has been taken for cremation.
