Adam George Lucus, 29, of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born August 8, 1996, in Lafayette, to Brian and Angela (Rogers) Lucus.

Adam graduated from Oakland High School.

On March 9, 2016, he started dating Natasha Simpson. They got married on June 19, 2020, in Lafayette and she survives.

Adam worked for FC Electric and was studying to become an electrician.

He was a member of Navy Club Ship 12, American Legion Post #11, 40&8 and the VFW Post #1154.

Adam enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing guitar, playing golf, cookouts and bonfires. He loved hanging out with friends, listening to music, and being at the lake.

Surviving with his wife, Natasha and parents, Brian and Angela are children, Chance, Ava and Ray-Ann, a sister, Krista Lucus of Lafayette, and grandparents, William "Bill" and Sharon Rogers of Battle Ground. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and countless friends.

Adam was preceded in death by grandparents, Lloyd and Bonnie Lucus and his best friend Andre LeBlanc.

He really was a friend to all and to anyone who needed help. Adam would give the shirt off his back to a stranger. He could walk in a room full of strangers and spark up a conversation and talk for hours.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, with Pastor Todd Hair officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help the family with expenses. A GoFundMe page has been set up as well as an account at PEFCU under the "Adam Lucus Memorial Fund"
