Richard Luman Obituary
Richard Lee “Ricky” Luman of Provencal was born on Saturday, December 31,1960 in Maryland. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24,2025 at his home in Provencal, LA.
He was the most loving and caring husband, dad, and grandpa. He was always there when his family needed him. He loved it when we would have family days, and he always enjoyed working on things. Ricky worked for Swepco as a mechanic for almost 30 years. He was the Provencal fire chief for many, many years.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents Travis and Joanne Luman. He is survived by his many brothers and sisters; wife Rebecca Luman; his five kids Misty Masters, Justin Luman, Elizabeth Luman, Richard Luman II, and Joshua Luman; finally, his grandchildren that he loved dearly Hunter Masters, David Masters, Grayson Masters, Jaxton Luman, Bentley Luman, Gracie Tatum, Maci Luman, Rhiley Luman, Mckenzie Luman, Alayna Luman, and William Nugent.
A memorial service will be held for Ricky at a later date.
