Richard D. Mack, Sr., age 74 of Canonsburg, died Thursday, September 25, 2025 in Heritage Valley Hospital, Beaver.

He was born July 13, 1951 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late James and Anna B. Bennett Mack.

Richard graduated from Canon-McMillan High School in 1970 where he played football, wrestled and ran track. He later went to business school. He was a business owner, owning an auto detailing shop, a bar and restaurant, and The Auto Corral auto dealership in McDonald.

In his free time he enjoyed working on cars, sports, and fishing.

Surviving are his loving wife Deborah Mack of Canonsburg; his sons, Richard D. Mack, Jr., of Indiana and David A. Mack of Coraopolis; a step-daughter, Bridget L. Fletcher of Buckeye, AZ; brothers, Lewis Dowdy and Vernon Mack; sisters, Gloria Jean Davis of Wilkinsburg, Virginia Wallace of Washington, and Casandra Dowdy of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Tammy, Kiah, Kaylee, Richard, Jayden, and Zoe; three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Deceased are six brothers, Jim, Gene, Bobby, Wayne, Billy, and Joe; and a sister who died in infancy.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 11:00am-12:00pm, the hour of services, in the Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Ave. Washington, with Pastor Joseph E. Wheeler officiating. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Pathway to Christ Full Gospel Baptist Church, 1395 Allison Ave. Washington, 15301.Online condolences may be expressed at www.piattandbarnhillfh.com.
