Harry Louis Philippe, Jr., 80 years old of Cecil, died August 19, 2025 in Canterbury Place, under hospice care.

He was born July 13, 1945 in Canonsburg, son of the late Harry Philippe Sr. and Stella Soltes Philippe.

Harry was a 1963 graduate of Canon McMillan High school and went on to graduate from Robert Morris with his associates degree. He worked for years for McGraw Edison as a production clerk.

He was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, St. Mary Church and Vision Services of Washington-Greene . Harry was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed archery, as well audiobooks and talking with friends.

Surviving are daughter Lisa Philippe of Cecil, brother Leopold "Leo" (Beatrice "Bea") Philippe of Lock Haven, nephew Michael Philippe of State College and niece Michelle Graham of Connecticut.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Fink and brother in law, Ronnie Fink.

Friends will be received 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321, where prayers of transfer will be said at 9:30 AM on Monday, August 25, 2025, followed by Christian Funeral Mass held at 10:00 AM in St. Mary Church, 10 St. Mary Lane, Cecil.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Harry's name to the Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes (Formerly Breakthrough Type 1 Diabetes (Formerly JDRF)) PO Box 5021
