She was born October 20, 1949 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late William and Sue Solomon Stenzel.
She was Lutheran by faith. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, playing cards, traveling, raising her three daughters, and spending time with family, especially her grandson.
After graduating from Peters Township High School she earned her cosmetology license at Pittsburgh Beauty Academy, worked in a salon for a short time before children. She then assisted her husband in their HVAC business as The BOSS LADY, keeping the office running smoothly.
Survived by loving husband of 52 years, Roy Altieri; daughters, Suzanna (Jeffrey) Barbarita of Upper Saint Clair; Amy Altieri of Cecil; and Kimberly Altieri of Venetia; a grandson Michael Barbarita of Upper Saint Clair; sister Wilma (Ed) Ramous of Venetia; nephews Ed (Heather); Bill (Courtney); Kevin (Nancy) Ramous; Billy Altieri and niece, Emily (Jeff) Altieri Young.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Thursday, June 12, 2025 at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA 15321, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM. with Barb Ramous as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Bridgeville, PA.
