Richard Lawrence Mainzer passed away on October 29th, 2023 from complications following a heart attack. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, business associate, and friend. He was a kind, patient, and caring person who always found time to help others. Richard was born in Jackson Heights, Queens New York on April 27th, 1955. When Richard was a boy, his family moved to Bowie, Maryland, where he remained a resident for 56 years, and met his wife Lorrie when she moved into the house next door to him.
Richard started his career as a consultant pharmacist, but quickly moved into management. In 2002, he began working at Remedi Senior Care, becoming Senior Vice President of Clinical Services & Technology, where he made many professional achievements which range from developing industry-standard software, helping to craft important clinical legislation, to working closely with the CDC at the height of the covid pandemic.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mildred, father Robert, and sister Carol. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorrie, and son, David.
