Rick (Cosmo) has been a great friend for over 50 years. We first met at Hartranft Hall at Penn State, and soon became pledge brothers at Phi Kappa Theta fraternity, which became the basis for our long and deep friendship. I fondly recall several times when we helped each other get back to our dorm rooms when we might have had one beer too many during Phi Kappa Theta parties. We continued to get together with our families and went to PSU football games many years after graduation, and we have great memories of those events. Even though we did not get together as much over the last few years, we always kept in touch, and when we did connect it seemed like no time had passed. We will miss him sorely!

On behalf of Phi Kappa Theta Brothers from across the country, I offer our sincere condolences on the passing of our Brother Richard.
Our Fraternity has a short public ritual that can be performed during the wake or during other services. It can be conducted by any Phi Kaps in attendance.
Please email me at [email protected]; I can share the script for the ritual.
