Richard A. Mayo

Richard A. Mayo, 93 of Staten Island, New York passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Brooklyn VA Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. Born Wednesday, December 16, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Richard Mayo and the late Frances (Wagner) Mayo. He was the beloved husband of the late Blanche C. Mayo. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a loyal friend to many. He served in the U.S Navy. He proudly worked in the insurance industry for almost 70 years. He will be missed by all who knew him. A Memorial service will be offered at 4:00 PM on Saturday at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. located at 28 Eltingville Blvd Staten Island, New York 10312. Arrangements include Private Cremation. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
