Mr. Richard “C Moore” Moore, age 66, a resident of Oak Ridge, Tennessee passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He was born March 10, 1959, in Oliver Springs, Tennessee. Richard was a member of the Phillipi Primitive Baptist Church in Rockwood, Tennessee. He was an avid Outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of the Little Emory Catfish Club. He was a passionate fan of the University of Tennessee Football. He was famous for his Barbeque, Hushpuppies, Chilli, and Crappie. “C Moore” was also especially known for being full of stories and trash-talking. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard & Dorothy Moore; sister and brother-in-law, Janet & Nathan Kilgo; mother-in-law, Juanita Curd; and his grandparents, and all of his aunts and uncles.

Bonus Son: Shannon Jones, Jr.
Grandchildren: Blakely Jones, Paizlee Jones, and Tinsley Quill

Special Cousins: Jackie Gallaher (Pearl), Melinda Bertram, Elaine Pendergrass, and Alice Chatman
Special Friends: Lee Jones, Jermaine Copeland, Calvin Turner, Vincent Turner, Dean, and Laura Ann Winton
And a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Other Relatives and Friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary. Cremation arrangements will then follow. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tennessee is honored to serve the family of Richard “C Moore” Moore.
