Mr. Rolland Elmer Adcox, age 90 of Mt. Juliet, formerly of Rockwood, passed away on Saturday, February 7th, 2026, in Murfreesboro, TN. He was born on February 18th, 1935. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Adcox grew up in Rockwood, with their family being raised in the Joiner Hollow community. He later enrolled in the US Army and was a proud veteran. He served in the Korean war and spent time in Europe while deployed. Once he got out of the service, he and his family settled in middle Tennessee. He worked for many years as a maintenance supervisor with Textron before retiring. He served in the Lion's Club and also coached his sons in their youth sports leagues. He was a kind man who was generous with his time spent with others and was glad to share his talents with anyone that may need help. He is preceded in death by his parents: Elmer and Lila Adcox; son: Ritchie Adcox; and 8 siblings: John, James, Robert, Harold, and Frances Floyd, Betty Jane Moore, Shirley Lawson, and Janice Ezell. He is survived by:

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 12th, 2026, from 12:00-1:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm ET. A private interment will be held later. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Rolland Elmer Adcox.
