Richard H. “Rick” Morgan, 76, of Brandon, MS, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 14, 2025. Rick was born on December 15, 1948, in Russell, KS, to Quinn and Ellarose Morgan. He grew up in San Antonio, TX. His family later moved to Mississippi and graduated from Pearl High School in 1968.
In 1970, Rick married the love of his life, Connie Phillips Morgan, and together they built a beautiful family of three children. Rick retired from ABF Freight after many years of dedicated service as a heavy equipment paint and body technician.
A faithful member of Pinelake Baptist Church, Rick enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. He was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and steady spirit.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Quinn and Ellarose Morgan and his brother, Jody Morgan.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; his children, Ricky Morgan (Angie) of Port St. Joe, FL, Chris Morgan of Brandon, MS, and Amy DeWise (Stan) of Daphne, AL; his six grandchildren: Emily Grace Morgan, Josh Morgan, Abbott Morgan, Parker DeWise, Kristin (Matt) Anderton, and Lexus (Hunter) Ray; and two great-grandchildren: Navy Tharpe and Aurora Ray. He is also survived by siblings: Steve (Diane) Morgan, Larry Morgan, Sue Buhrmann (Don) and Randy (Gayle) Morgan and sister-in-law Laura Morgan.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Rick and Connie’s Small Group for their friendship, love, and support during this time.
Visitation will be held at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS, on November 16, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with the memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
