Richard H. Moseley was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He passed away peacefully February 17, 2023. He was a native of Kansas City, was President of Reserve Mortgage Corporation. He graduated from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. He was very interested in human needs and the welfare of others. Richard dedicated himself to helping those less fortunate. He was President of Big Brother's and Sister's and continued mentoring his little brother up until his death. He was also a member of Rotary 13, a supporter of Salvation Army, City Union Mission, the Kansas City Zoo, the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum and St. Luke's Hospital. He was active with Rose Brooks via the Outreach Commission at St. Andrews. He was 1st Lieutenant in the Army Reserves. He was quite interested in many local organizations and was President of the Kansas City Ski Club and the Kansas City Batchelor Club. He was a member of the District Committee of Boy Scouts, American Royal Parade Committee, Ozark Wilderness Waterway Club, Colorado Mountain Club and Mercury Club.
Richard was predeceased by his parents, Forrest & Edna, and his brother, Donald.He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cathy, his children Ric (Kristy) and Jennifer, his grandchildren Andrew, Claire and Avery. The service will take place at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 3 pm. The service will be livestreamed at . In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts to the outreach ministries of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 6401 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64113.
